As a new Spartanburg nonprofit ready to make a splash, Movement 2030 came to us in need of a holistic brand that would garner quick, wide scale attention throughout the community. The ALINE team provided a series of award-winning deliverables, starting with a stunning, visually compelling new logo with an informative website and printed brochure to match.

American Advertising Federation Awards

In 2024, our team's work for Movement 2030 was presented with three American Advertising Federation (AAF) Awards in Greenville, SC. ALINE was honored to be recognized in the Public Service category for the Movement 2030 brand, website, and print brochure.

The Movement Logo

Clear from its name, the Movement logo needed to encapsulate just that—movement and momentum in our city and among its people. With their sweeping plan to dramatically advance economic mobility and educational attainment among the next generation, the Movement brand needed to be youthful and energetic. The rounded, abstract shapes used end up coming together to create the appearance of building block toys or puzzles. Other forms within reference a rainbow symbolizing unity and hope, a sun symbolizing the future, a check or data point representing the initiative's data-driven approach, or a child raising her hand as if in victory or to answer a question. Each viewer might come away with something different, which makes for a compelling end result for an initiative that aims to support all members of the community.

Building on the Brand

A logo that could easily be implemented and recognized across Spartanburg was just the first building block. ALINE delivered an award-winning website and printed brochure to help inform and educate Movement 2030's growing audience of supporters on their important work across the county.
