Reason No. Eleventy Billion Why We Love Where We Live: Autumn Here Is Undefeated
Happy fall y’all! This is hands-down our favorite time of year. Fall offers an opportunity to get outdoors a little more, take in a few more area events, and raise a glass of seasonal brew to our amazing team and clients.
This time of year is maybe the best to enjoy all of the outdoors activities that the Western Carolinas are known for, from hiking to kayaking, to mountain or road biking, to on-the-front-porch-adult-beverage-drinking. And right now, Spartanburg is positively bustling with fall happenings. Here are a few events that our ALINErs are excited about:
Farm To Table Dinner
We love our local farmers and any opportunity to support their bounty! On Oct. 13, Farmers' Table's annual Farm to Table Dinner will feature a five-course dinner with locally sourced seasonal harvests. Really folks, dinner doesn’t get any fresher than this. Plus, we love that all proceeds benefit the Hub City Farmers’ Market! Get your tickets online before they’re gone.
A Shucking Good Time
For the third year in a row, SPACE hosts A Shucking Good Time, presented by Spartanburg Regional Healthcare System, on Oct. 11. Any combination of oysters, cold brews, and live music along the Cottonwood Trail sounds right-on to our crew. Plus, a portion of the ticket sales go to restoring the Boardwalk at the Cottonwood Trail. Grab your tickets here.
World Equestrian Games
And right up the road, the World Equestrian Games are happening at the Tryon International Equestrian Center from Sept. 11-23. This is one of the biggest events of the global sporting calendar and an epic chance to witness world-class riders and horses compete. We’re pumped about the chance to witness this global event in our backyard. Tickets are still available.
That’s just a taste of what we’ll be up to this fall. Let us know what you’re up to this season!
